I was sent out an essential carry case of my choice recently and I am really liking how durable it is. I have seen other essential oil cases on the market but they all seem to be so over priced. Soothing Terra has the best prices for these cases that I have seen so far. The case is really nice looking and well made and also has a pocket inside for your cards. The material is easy to clean, I found that out after spilling sauce on it. It wiped off easily with a rag and hot water. It has a handle and from the picture you can see it has the insert that holds all your bottles separately.
They are having a sale on their cases so if you in the market for a case Soothingterra is your best bet. These cases make is very simple to carry your oils around with you on vacation or even to work. I keep mine right on the counter so I don’t have to worry about a bottle dropping and breaking, Their cases range from 12.95 to 24.99. Check out the key chain essential oil case they offer, I thought it was so convenient. Check out their site at SoothingTerra.com
When my kids were babies I discovered how well lavender oil helps children sleep. A particular company made a lavender scented bubble bath and right away it seemed to make my life easier by helping my children fall asleep easier. I didn’t realize at the time all the chemicals that were in the bubble bath but now there is a healthier way to get the same affect. Using a drop or 2 in your kids bath at night will help them fall asleep faster and easier at night. I have listed many different ways lavender can be used for health and around the house. Let me know if there is something else you use it for that I may have missed.

How lavender oil is advantageous for children
Lavender oil is also beneficial to babies and children. The only warning with using lavender oil for kids is that it should be used in very minute quantities and heavily diffused because the skin and bodies of young children are particularly sensitive. Just a drop of essential lavender oil to four to six teaspoons of the carrier oil is recommended for children under six years of age. Lavender oil can be used for

There are a lot of sunscreens at the store to choose from but most of them are filled with harmful chemical that you really shouldn’t put on your skin. I found a natural sunscreen that you can make yourself and is good for your skin. Coconut oil is a natural sunscreen that naturally has an SPF of 4, if you add carrot seed essential oil it will add spf of 30 so together it is Spf of 34.
Add 4 drops of Carrot seed essential oil to a handful of coconut oil and that’s it.. Do a small test area on your skin beforehand to make sure you don’t react to the oil. It will need to be re-applied depending on how long your out in the sun. If you don’t know where to get the carrot seed oil you can get it HERE
If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health-care practitioner prior to use of carrot seed oil.
I had the opportunity to try out Doterra essential oils recently. I received a kit called Introduction To Essential Oils. It contained Lavender, Peppermint and Lemon. I am familiar with essential oils and these particular oils I would consider staples. I never used DoTerra before and I found these oils to be high quality.
Lavender has many uses. I have always used it to help my kids get to sleep at night. It’s also used as a natural antibacterial. My daughter scraped her knee last week so I put a few drops on her knee every day. It healed up nicely. I didn’t use anything else except the lavender oil. You can also use it on bug bites and burns. There are so many other uses. Lavender should be a staple in everyones home.
Lemon is an oil that also has a lot of uses. It can be used to clean with. You can also diffuse it in a room to get rid of bad smells without adding any chemicals into the air. I also put a few drops in a glass of water in the morning and drink it. It tastes good and the smell is so nice. It’s a natural liver detox and I think it helps with water retention. If you make your own cleaners lemon added to your cleaner can save you a lot of money and clean well. It’s a natural germ killer and good for removing grease. Your not adding any chemicals and it smells nice. See natural cleaner recipe below.
Peppermint Peppermint is a great pick me up. You can add it to water for indigestion and any stomach upset. It can be diffused in the air for a nice smell and air purifier. Its a good oil to diffuse while your kids are doing their homework. Its stimulating and it creates awareness. I used peppermint on a cruise to ward off sea sickness. I only used peppermint and while others used the wrist bands and pills I was the only one we knew on the ship that didn’t get sick. I just rubbed it on my skin around my neck so I can breath it in. You can add it to water and drink it also to help with headaches.
Doterra oils are completely natural and have no fillers or chemicals added to them. They are different than oils you get at the health food store because they don’t have any chemicals added, they are completely 100% pure. If your going to start using oils in the home I would suggest starting out with these 3 oils because of the amount of uses for these oils.
