Corn On The Cob In The Crockpot (Without Water)
This is a easy and less messy way to cook corn on the cob. I friend told me about cooking it in the crock pot without using any water and I tried it today and it came out great. Here is how it’s done..
Using fresh corn, shuck the corn. Then wrap each individual corn in aluminum foil. I also broke a few in halves and wrapped them. I suppose if you want you can add a small dab of butter in each corn as your wrapping them. I wrapped them plain though. Place them in the crock pot, DO NOT ADD ANY WATER and close the lid and cook on high for about 2 1/2 hours.
They came out so good that I will never cook them in water again. They cook in their own juices this way.
Try it and let me know how you like them.
